About the Shelter Visibility Project

What is the Shelter Visibility Project?

The SVP aims to give visibility to shelter animals throughout Wyoming (and beyond) by connecting shelters with a professional photographer.

What does a Shelter Visibility Project visit look like?

A visit includes typically lasts 3-4 hours, and consists of photoshoots of adoptable animals, video content, and a feature on the Shelter Visibility Project social media channels and website (all for free!)

How do I participate?

Behind the lens

I’m Grace, a professional artist (you might know me as Little Scout Creative) and photographer living in the woods outside of Jackson, Wyoming. I have fostered hundreds of kittens, a handful of puppies, and used to work full-time in animal rescue. I am a mom to two humans, two canines, and five felines (yes, it is never quiet in our home!)

I lost my dog Cleo in the summer of 2024, and wanted to find a way to honor her memory. Shortly after, I started the Shelter Visibility Project, to bring attention to shelter animals in Wyoming and beyond, and to provide high quality photos to animal welfare organizations to help their animals get seen (and adopted!)

A great photo can change a shelter pet’s life.
